Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ResumeRanked. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

ResumeRanked analyzes your own professional profile to give you a score, suggestions, a critique, and optional comparisons and leaderboards. Scores and rankings are automated heuristics for self improvement, not a measure of your professional worth or candidacy.

Your account and your data

You sign in through LinkedIn and supply your own profile content. You may only submit a profile that belongs to you. You retain ownership of your content and grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the service to you. We never fetch or scrape LinkedIn or process anyone who has not signed in.

In product consent

Exposing yourself to others, such as joining the leaderboard, entering a battle, or showing your real name, requires a separate opt in at the moment it happens. These Terms are in addition to those steps and do not replace them.

Acceptable use

• Do not submit data that is not your own or that you do not have the right to share.
• Do not attempt to scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service.
• Do not use the service to harass others or for unlawful purposes.

Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid subscription, billed through Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your account, and your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non refundable for partial periods.

Referrals

Referral rewards are provided at our discretion and may be adjusted or withdrawn if abused, for example through fake or automated signups.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, ranking, job, or result.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeRanked is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
